Sulong Laban... Wag Uurong...

Last December 7, the Filipino SEA Games athletes held a victory parade at the streets of Makati. It was the first time that the Philippines became the overall champion of the SEA Games. My officemates (Aldrin, Lalaine, Nanah) and I waited eagerly at the Ayala sidewalk in front of MSE for the much anticipated parade. We got a good spot and view since we’ve been waiting and standing at the sidewalk as early as 1:30pm and the parade was only scheduled to start at 2:00pm. So there it was the triumphant athletes displayed there golds in front of the proud Filipinos. One thing I liked in the parade was I saw Mikee Cojuanco Jaworski in person. Wooowwww… She’s so pretty and charming in person. I also saw the “wushu” commercial model of Sunsilk. Ganda rin niya in person. Another highlight of the parade was the Philippine SEA Games mascot. I really like seeing mascots. They never seize to amaze me. Our parade viewing was capped by an Old fat man teaching the crowd the Filipino SEA Games dance. To bad, I can’t show the dance step in this blog. Hehehe…

Hay nako… Bad trip talaga nung Monday. Hehehe… Ok lang pasko naman e… Kaso mas marami akong gastos ng pasko e… Haaaaaaaayyyyyyyy… Sana nabusog ko kayong lahat… Makita ko lang kayong masaya… Masaya na rin ako… Makita ko lang kayong busog… Busog na rin ako… Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… Yun lang…
P.S. Joke lang toh… Kunwari… Joke… Joke… Joke… Kunwari… Hehehe… Ang gulo…

Last Wednesday, our team spent our budget for our rewards & recognition by having a dinner at Heaven & Eggs at Glorietta. I ordered country fried steak which includes 2 side dishes of my choice (mashed potato and pan cake) and two eggs cooked in my choice (scrambled and easy over). For my drinks, I ordered house soda. As usual it has to be bottomless. Hehehe… House soda is a beverage wherein you could change your drink from one flavor to another unlike most bottomless drinks wherein you only have 1 choice. The house soda flavors include vanilla, lychee, strawberry, lime, and root beer. I chose strawberry for my first glass then change to root beer up until my last glass which I think was 5 glasses. The reason for ordering bottomless is to drink as much as you can. You’ll be stupid to order bottomless drink if you would only use up about 2 glasses. Hehehe… Anyway, as usual sakin nanaman pinaubos yung mga hindi nila makain… Grabe… Hehehe… Patay gutom… Hehehe…

Last Friday, Erwin (One of the master in Ariba and the Godfather of JPMC) celebrated his birthday in the office. His birthday was on Sunday (November 27) but since there was no office on Sunday, he decided to treat us last Friday. He bought two 18 inches Yellow Cub pizza for us. I ate a total of four slices. Wow busog nanaman… hehehe… The team gave him a fake (spoof) gift before giving him our real gift. The fake gift was an Ariba manual wrapped in a Kamiseta bag. We just wanted to see his reaction on our fake gift. Hehehe… Actually it was our team lead’s idea. Heehhe… Afterwards seeing his worried looks, we decided to give him our real gift a blue polo shirt. We were supposed to give him an anime figurine of Naruto but it cost P1000 so we just decided to give him a shirt.
P.S. I don’t know how old Erwin is… Just ask him if you want to know… Hehehe…

Last Wednesday and Thursday, I attended the Charcoal Sketching Class provided by Accenture. The first day was just all lecture and practice. We were taught how to create charcoal dust using sandpaper and a charcoal pencil and how to use the charcoal dust with a brush. We were also taught the basic lighting and shadow philosophy of a picture. The next day, was designated for our sketching proper. We were provided with different pictures/portrait were we could choose from. I chose to draw the church portrait. Just refer to the pictures above to see the result of my drawing. Hehehe… Isang malaking Joke…
