Karayum

Last Monday, I went to Medical city to have my blood tested.  Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh… Takot ako sa karayum… I like to donate blood for Red Cross but my fear of Needle and Injection hinders me to do so.  So that morning, I was really scared.  Plus I don’t have any idea of how much blood would be collected for testing.  Waaaahhhhhhh… I arrived at the lab at 7 am in the morning.  I saw the large needle and bottle that needs to be filled with my blood.  Waaaaahhhhh… Ayaw ko na… hehehe… I even asked the nurse “Masakit ba yan?”. Paki mo ba… e first time ko e… hehehe… Anyway, there it was closed fist and a rubber tied in my right arm.  Nooooo… Stopppp… hehehe… ang arte… But when the needle was stuck to my vein, wala naman palang sakit e… hehehe… Maybe next time I can donate blood at Red Cross… Naaaaahhhhhhh…

Super Pau’s Bday

Bagong Model ng Sbarro

Last Friday was Paulo’s (my officemate and start group in Accenture) birthday.  Papa Pau, as we call him, is my wrestling and cell phone guru.  He is my kakwentuhan sa wrestling here in our office since I think only the two of us in our team enjoys following the drama and storyline of WWE.  He also knows every cell phone brand and feature there is.  He also knows how to work around any cell phone unit.  Pwede itong magtinda ng cellphone sa greenhills.  Hehehe…  He also gives me supplies of cell phone games.  Anyway, our team surprised Pau with a red ribbon cake, bamboo 1st album cd, balloons, and a card.  As usual, we sung a happy birthday song na hindi sabay-sabay, paputol-putol, at hindi nakocomplete ang song.  Hehehe… Papa Pau then treated the team to a Sbarro Chicago Deep pizza.  Grabe… It was my first time to eat that pizza and sobrang nakakabusog… Pero syempre kayang-kaya ko parin ubusin… Hehehe…

Malas Lang

Malas... Since there were 4 of us in Fraser, namely Allan, Aldrin, Nanah, and I and only 3 free breakfasts are available.  Aldrin, Nanah, and I decided to have a draw lots to determine who among us won't avail the free breakfast.  A smiling face means you would eat breakfast and a sad face means you won't.  At sa kamalas-malasan ko... I picked the sad face twice in a row (Wednesday and Thursday nights).  Whatttttt... And we only did this twice... Waaaaaaahhhhh... Grrrrrrrrr... Dinaya ako nung dalawa... hehehe... Pero oks lang... Pampapayat naman... Sana tunaba kayong dalawa... Sana lumobo kayo at maging balyena… hehehe... May sama ng loob e noh... Hehehe...

Team Building - ThanksGiving - Despedida

Last Tuesday, our team had our September teambuilding, the much postponed thanksgiving of the new promotes, and the despedida party for Oscar.  The night started with a dinner at Brazil-Brazil in Rockwell.  The buffet costs P595 plus 10% service charge per person.  Whoah... Medyo mahal... Anyway, the food was ok.  I liked the lamb ala kare-kare style and the fish fillet.  The style of Brazil-Brazil is having a yoyo (green at 1 side and red at 1 side) at the table.  When the yoyo is on the green side, the waiters would bring food on your table while the red side indicates the opposite.  The foods that where being delivered are mostly grilled and roasted like chicken barbeque, pork loin, spare ribs, beef brisket, sausage, corn, pineapple, banana, pork ewans and beef ewans.  As usual busog to the max ako... hehehe... kain-kain... kwento-kwento... then I asked the waiter if I could take the yoyo home and he nodded yes.  yahooo.... may souvenir nanaman... hehehe... then Aldrin, Leya, Erwin, Karren, and Evelyn also asked for one.  Ubos ang yoyo... hehehe... After our dinner, we went straight to Frasers para magkantahan gamit ang magic sing ni Oscar.  Tama na yan... kantahan... What’s videoke without drinks... Oscar bought Cuervo Tequila, Smirnoff Vodka, SanMig Light, and various chips which he paid for by the way.  Galante pa... hehehe... Kaya yun kanta-kanta... shot-shot... at calamansi ang proxy ng lemon... jologs... hehehe... Allan started the singing with 4 or 5 songs in a span of 7 songs.  Monopoly... hehehe... At around 1 am, only Erwin, Karren, Oscar, Nanah, and I were left standing and singing... Allan and Lalaine already went on their rooms while Aldrin and Leya already went home.  We finished singing at around 3:30am.  Too bad we still have to follow JPMC 9 am campaign.  Waaaahhhhhhhh... Lahat kami may headache pumasok sa office... hehehe...

Things I Miss When I’m Not Going Home

I’ve been living at an apartment for almost 2 weeks now and I come to realize that I miss a lot of things from home.  These are things I normally don’t appreciate but I’m craving for them right now.

  • I miss my mom’s cooking
  • I miss our maid’s cooking (kahit hindi masarap)
  • I miss my dad praying over me before I go to office
  • I miss my mom reminding me of things that I might forget before going to office
  • I miss my mom folding the sleeves of my long-sleeved polo
  • I miss hitching at my brother’s car
  • I miss commuting
  • I miss sleeping at the FX
  • I miss my room
  • I miss my bed
  • I miss my Spiderman pillow
  • I miss my 2 basketball balls
  • I miss my playstation
  • I miss my TV
  • I miss my sofa
  • I miss my mirror
  • I miss my CR
  • I miss my home

Isang Malaking Update

Mid-Shift

Hayyy… Mid-shift ako buong linggo ngayon…  From Monday (Sep 19) to Friday (Sep 23)…

Fraser

Because of our hectic schedule for v17, our team got an apartment-hotel at Fraser for 2 weeks.  It is just a 5-10 minutes walk from our office. I plan to stay there from Monday to Saturday and go home on Sunday and stay there again from Monday to Saturday.  Last Monday and Tuesday, tatlo lang kami na nagstay don.  Allan, Nanah, and Me… I plan to swim and use the gym facilities at the hotel starting Thursday.  Syempre kalian sulitin…

SFC Evangelization

Last Sunday, our chapter (East A1-B) started our evangelization at the Village East Subdivision which is the mother subdivision of our chapter.  Grabe nakakapagod… We started at 8am.  We attended the mass and asked the permission of the parish priest to allow us to use the village east church for our Christian Life Program, a 13 Saturdays – 2 hours session.  One should complete these sessions in order to be baptized as Singles for Christ member.  Anyway, after talking to the parish priest, we posted our large invitation poster at the entrance of the church.  After the 11am mass, we gave away leaflets to the mass goers.  We then went to the house of Ate Dedeth and had a calling barrage by calling the Youth for Christ members and sons and daughters of the Couples for Christ members who are already 18 years old and above.  After calling them, we had a house-to-house wherein we went to every house of all the potential participants that we called earlier para conbinsahin lalo sila na umattend ng CLP… hehehe… Most of them ay nagulat sa pag punta namin sa houses nila… Hayyyy… grabe nakakapagod talaga… whole day evangelization… Pero oks lang… All for God naman e… hehehe…

Global One

Last Saturday, after going to work dumeretsyo na ko sa SFC Global One Conference.  It was held at St. Paul Pasig Gym from 6-12pm.  Pero dumating ako mga 8pm na.  The theme of the conference was “Conquer All”.  The conference talks mainly on the importance of evangelization especially in other countries.  It also gave respect and praise to the missionaries of Couples for Christ who risks their lives in order to preach Christianity to countries who are not Christian dominated.  Syempre… This is my favorite part of every conference… Wherein we jump… dance… and sing our lungs out with various praise and worship songs… Grabe… At iba talaga ang ambience parang Gos id really there… Ramdan mo yung presense niya… Parang katabi mo lang… hehehe…

Somerset

Wow Hotel nanaman…. Hehehe… Last Friday, Laiane, Oscar and I slept at Somerset since gabi na rin kami uuwe at papasok pa kami ng Saturday. Please Do Not Disturb door message… key card… hehehe…

Rewards Recognition

Last Friday, we had our rewards recognition for v16… Mike, our counterpart, gave us $60 (P3000+) for the rewards.  The team decided to only use a little for the rewards and use the remaining money for team dinner.  The winners were Erwin (Star of the Release), Myself (Star of the Release), Nanah (Star of the Release), Oscar (Best Improvement Idea), Lalaine (Exceptional Professional in the Workplace), and Allan (Job Well Done).  Each of us received a P100 Starbucks gift certificate and a card signed by Allan, Ms. Mimi, Sir Andy, and RVM.  Wow… RVM… Partner na yun ah… Big time… hehehe…

Chubby Ryan Part 2

The remaining money from the budget Mike gave us was used by the team last Friday at Chubby China… Yahooo… Eat all you can nanaman… hehehe… Everyone was present except for Evelyn.  Even our Manager, Ms. Mimi, was there.

Tennis

Last Tuesday and Thursday, I together with Rosanah (w/ an h) and Oscar attended the tennis (lawn tennis NOT badminton) clinic offered by Accenture.  Ayos naman… sarap magtennis… tinuruan kami ng forehand… backhand… volley… service… smash… may favorite was the service and smash…

Last Tuesday, was the birthday of one of my officemate, Oscar.  Nung lunch kumain kami sa crocodile… Sarap crispy pata… calamares… sisig… sinigang na hipon… baked tahong… Tapos sinurprise naming siya sa office by giving him a chocolate dome cake from cheesecake etc, balloons, and a card. Sarap… Tapos hinati-hati naming yung cake sa team… Sarap nung cake sobra… nakakaaddict… hehehe…

10 Things I Hate

Inspired by Allan’s 10 things that i hate entry in his blog site

1) I hate people who are “Plastic.”  Orocan as I call them.  I really despise people who are only good to you or say good things about you when they are with you or when they know you could hear what they are saying.  But once you turn your back and you’re not in sight, these people back stab you.  They express their concealed sentiments against you to other people and sometimes make up harmful things against you.  Damn this people.  If you have any bad feelings against me, say it to my face.  I can handle it and most likely I don’t like you too.  Hehehe…

2) I hate guys who are “Mapapel”, “Epal”, and “Maangas.”  Maybe it’s a guy thing but I really hate this type of crowd.  Whenever I come across guys na ang angas makatingin at ang angas makaasta tapos napakamapapel pa… Sarap barahin… Sarap sabihang “weeeeeeehhhhhhh!!!”… O kaya “Di nga?!?”… O kaya “Ulol!!!”…

3) I hate girls who smoke.  Yosi Girl as I call them.  Actually, it is not that I hate them but I just don’t like them.  I have this philosophy that a girl who is that liberated to smoke is also that liberated to give away her virginity.  I view yosi girls as a divirginized bitches.  That’s why I never go for yosi girls.  Sayang... Hehehe…

4) I hate it when people get the better of me. I prefer being the one who gets the better of other people.  In any exchange, may it be food, chores, shopping, work, money, or any activity; if it is not equally portioned or equally traded, I always want to get the better piece.  Magulang ata itong batang ito… hehehe…  Of course excluding those that involves less fortunate individuals.

5) I hate beer.   I really don’t like the taste of beer even the light ones.  It’s bitter.  I don’t know what’s with beer that most guys get addicted to.  I prefer to drink hard alcohols compared to beer since the taste is much much much better and it is easier to drink since it is in a shot glass and it has chaser.  Hehehe…  I’m not a drinking person so though I prefer hard alcohols compared to beers, I still would chose not drinking at all if I had a choice.

6) I hate people who spits to the streets.  Damn this people.  This type of people roams freely to the metro.  Most of them are squatters and jologs who weren’t thought of proper etiquette.  Whenever I see an act like this parang ang sarap batukan nung dumura.  Grrrrrrrr… I wish our country would also implement the laws on spitting and littering just like in Singapore para matigil na itong mga kadiring tao na ito.

7) I hate commuting when it’s raining.  When it’s raining, I have to bring my rain gear, namely my jacket and large umbrella (I don’t like the small folding umbrellas because if the rain and wind is very strong I still get wet).  In addition, I hate it when I’m in my office attire and walks on wet streets with lots of stagnant waters.  I have to walk very slowly so that the water won’t squirt to my shoes and pants.

8) I hate it when I'm seating besides a fat person at the back of an FX.  Grabe kainis pagsobrang taba nung katabi mo sa FX.  Yung tipong hindi ka na makagalaw.  This usually happens to me.  When riding an FX I usually sit at the back and in our FX terminal there is this fat girl who is more than twice my size who also sits at the back.  Grabe… Unfortunately, I think there had been more than 5 instances wherein she seated beside me. Hehehe… Sama ng ugali ko…

9) I hate eating spicy foods.  Since childhood, I never liked eating spicy foods unlike my parents and brother.  So sometimes when my mom would cook a spicy dish, she would first separate a portion for me before she would put the spicy ingredients.  I don’t know why but ever since I never liked spicy foods.  The only spicy food I really liked was the Bicol Express. Isang subo… Isang basong tubig… Hehehe…

10) I hate failing.  I’m never accustomed to failure.  I always give my best to excel in everything so when I fail, it hurts me a lot.  Sometimes because of my fear of failure, I tend not to go through with some things with uncertain results.  Siguristang Perfectionist ata ito… Hehehe…
